The Bed is a performance-focused MIDI surface for Windows. It turns a normal QWERTY keyboard into an expressive musical controller for Ableton Live, VST hosts, hardware synths, and loopMIDI-style MIDI routing. Play single-note layouts, chromatic and scale-based keybeds, curated chord families, OB6 split mode with chord and melody sides, velocity control, panic handling, harmonic guidance, Feel Map colors, arrangement ordering, and family/lens browsing. The app is designed for fast exploration of harmony without autoplay: every sound still comes from a key you press. For best results, create a loopMIDI port named The Bed, enable it in your DAW, arm a MIDI/instrument track, then run The Bed and turn Capture on.
